Creating 50 Graduation Favors
🇮🇹 In questi giorni sto creando ben 50 (!!!) bomboniere per una laurea in ingegneria... per fortuna l'assemblaggio è moderatamente semplice perché sono tantissime e ci sto impiegando pomeriggi interi!
Le bomboniere sono fatte in cartoncino rosso (spessore 185 gsm) e le sto tagliando con la mia ScanNCut (ma possono essere create tranquillamente anche con Cricut, Silhouette e qualsiasi altra macchina da taglio). Il modello di scatoletta a forma piramidale lo potete trovare gratis su TemplateMaker: misure personalizzabili direttamente sul sito e formati file di tantissimi i tipi (svg, pdf, png, ecc). Io ho poi ulteriormente modificato il disegno aggiungendo due ritagli a forma di cappello da laurea e iniziale G, e due buchini per fare passare il nastrino.
Sui ritagli viene incollato un cartoncino nero per dare quel effetto quasi 3D, si infila il nastrino col charm da laureato (si trovano carini carini su Aliexpress o Amazon) e la scatoletta è quasi pronta! Mancano ancora i confetti nelle loro bustine e il fogliettini da inserire con nome e data di laurea, poi saranno pronti al 100%!
Devo dire, è un lavoraccio (ne ho finiti appena 15 su 50!), ma sicuramente l'effetto finale varrà ogni minuto trascorso a costruirli ♥
🇬🇧 Lately I have been busy creating 50 graduation favors… and I’m feeling glad that I chose a moderately simple design, because the assembly is proving much longer than expected!
The little boxes are made using red cardstock (medium weight, 185 gsm) and I am cutting them using my ScanNCut machine (but can easily be made with any other cutting machine, including Cricut, Silhouette, etc). The pyramidal box model can be found for free on the site TemplateMaker: the measurements are customizable and there are loads of file formats available for download (including svg, pdf, png, etc). I have then added the extra G initial, the graduation cap and two small holes for the string to pass through. The cropped pieces are the covered with black cardstock which gives the designs and almost 3D effect, and the ribbon and charm complete the look. The charms can be found on AliExpress or on Amazon, there are so many cute ones to choose from!
The boxes are now almost complete: I still need to fill them with traditional candy and a small note with the correct name and date.
Now I just need to finish the last 35 boxes, and then we’ll be ready for the party ♥
